Water sampling and turbidity testing before and after construction, seismic or blasting operations take place is an effective way to prove the operations did not disrupt or contaminate local water quality.

IGS collects water samples and sends them to a third-party lab to ensure impartiality. A complete chain of custody from our technicians to the water lab is provided. Tests conducted include minerals, hardness, alkalinity, suspended solids, pH and turbidity.

 

With ultra-sonic flow rate meters, our technicians can also measure the rate of flow, WITHOUT dismantling any piping or valves. Most residential well water pumps are submerged and degrade over time or get full of sand, which decreases the flow rate. Flow rate sampling before and after the project can help reduce damage claim payouts and lower insurance rates.
